Sheds
There are three types of material commonly used for sheds.
These are steel, plastic and wood. Each of these materials
have their own strengths and weaknesses which are examined
below.
Steel sheds are usually sheds that require a higher level of
security such as specialist workshops. As steel is the
strongest material it is obviously the most appropriate in
this case, modern steel sheds manufacturers are now
producing delightful structures. Steel Sheds however are
expensive and usually must be constructed by a licensed
builder.
Wooden sheds are the most common. A wooden shed look goods
in any garden or business. The wooden shed is clearly the
best option where the appearance is important. The downside
to wooden sheds however, is that the wood will need to be
treated to prolong the life of the timber, and will require
annual maintenance to maintain it's appearance.
Plastic sheds are a modern
method of achieving storage shelter and come in a range of
tent type plastic sheds right through to tensile membrane
structures, which are exceptionally strong, Vinyl
sheds are extremely durable and usually the best value for
money and can be used as a roof to add security.
Technology has made plastics sheds very attractive.
