We in the Western world enjoy a
privileged existence that centres around competition,
productivity and advancement.
The drawback to our modern
"intellectual"
lifestyle is that we tend to get locked into a variety of
personal and shared belief systems, resulting in the many "illusions" that
modern humans tend to make real.
In truth, very
few of us have
interdependent self concepts, instead
our personalities have been constructed around the
expectations, beliefs and ideals of other sources.
Humans develop relationships with
every-one and
every-thing in
their lives, including our self,
parents, children, lovers,
job, education, health, beliefs,
material items, money and so on.
Waking up
from our limiting belief systems.
When problems, issues or discomfort arises as a result of dealing with any of
these situations, that part of that relationship has become
unconscious and
a
relationship conflict occurs.
It is here where
we can give over our personal power to fear, resentment and
unwanted
thoughts, feelings and actions. Unconscious occurrences show up
as lifestyle imbalances and emotional disharmony.
In the search for self mastery, many believe that they must gain
character attributes to satisfy outward influences, but in truth it is what
traits that must "awakened" within, to become powerful in relationships.
Powerful
relationships begin and end, with
our self.
Life can be likened to a
Soap Opera. Each morning we wake
ready to play out our chosen roles and dramas of the day. Before we
can begin building excellent relationships with others, we must
firstly look inside to examine our own self concepts to see what
illusions we have developed and what filters inhibit our view of
the
world.
We all have one
or more personal traits or skills that we can puff out our
chest and stand tall, but we also all have traits
that we wish that we did not, and we keep them buried down
inside, attempting to ignore them and dreading their resurface, hoping they will one
day vanish ...
The
Conscious Relationships Program takes us on a tour of who
and what we are in business, personal and family relationships
today and provides us with the dynamic tools to produce powerful,
fulfilling relationships.
Two full days - 12 hours.
Recommended 9-5pm, with two half hour and 1 hour breaks.
This program
contains psycho-spiritual content and is ideal for self esteem
and team building exercises. As parts of this
program can be mildly confronting, it is not recommended for
persons engaged in any other coinciding psychological therapies.
